The NetSuite System Administrator provides all levels of administration services to support a highly reliable and secure application environment and acts as subject matter expert. Provides training, troubleshooting and other support for NetSuite applications managed by business.

What you will do:

This position will work within the IT/NetSuite department and be responsible for maintaining, managing, and assisting in closing out NetSuite cases and projects. This position is responsible for being the liaison between the department and the organization. Working primarily with department NetSuite Power Users. 

  • NetSuite Case Management - organize and coordinate case work by analyzing work and effort needed to complete requests/issues.
  • Develop / Deploy minor NetSuite Customizations / New Functionality
  • Test NetSuite customizations before deployment
  • Monitor / Support the Health of NetSuite Processes
  • Work with end-users/NSPU
  • Document / Implement Changes

Areas of Responsibility:

These are the areas and projects within scope of this position:

  • Work with NSPU to manage users needs
  • Solve Tier-1 Netsuite cases submitted by users
  • Develop / Deploy basic NetSuite Customizations
  • Test and perform QC on new/updated NS customizations before deployment
  • Map Existing Processes / Create New and Revised Processes
  • Document / Implement Changes
  • Monitor / Support the Health of NetSuite Processes
  • Create/update saved searches and reports

Core Objectives:

  • Manage requests and issues submitted to the NetSuite department
  • Connect NetSuite to external applications.
  • Understand and create system enhancements to meet business requirements

 

 

   

 

Nothing replaces experience so here’s what it takes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information technology or equivalent is preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a System Administrator with a minimum of 1 year as a NetSuite Administrator (Certified Administrator, preferred)
  • Functional knowledge of JavaScript and SuiteScript APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of standard ERP business practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools and the application of a systematic, disciplined approach to the analysis, design, development, assessment, implementation, test and maintenance of processes.
  • Understands and is familiar with the most widely known and emerging tools, technologies and social applications.
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and customizing Saved Searches
