We use the Core Value Index (CVI) because knowing how we roll naturally means we are having more fun and getting more done. Our teams are building on strengths; Managers don’t nag us to work in our weaknesses (unless we want them to). How cool is that?
However, with that said, If you suck, are negative and moody, are too grumpy in the morning to say “hey”, just want to have friends and not get the work done, or you generally have highs and lows that make others not want to be around you, then this is not a good match. BUT you CAN become part of the RyoNation, follow us and see what balance looks like. Then, when you’re not so grumpy and unpredictable, maybe timing will be better.

The interview process:
You will have plenty of time to learn us, as our process will be a very active 4-8 weeks, depending on schedules and tons of information gathered on your own, as well as through the process. Your meetings with us will be an hour or two with every department that affects your areas of responsibilities.
Our responsibility in this process is to be transparent and open to the questions you will ask and provide you with clear expectations of the role. We will not sugar-coat the position or paint a picture of our company that is not realistic. We are proud of our culture, know that it works, and want people who understand who we are.

Currently there are 2 of us and we have 2 offices separated so we can provide our team with not just privacy but diplomacy as well. This role will be a 3rd person to balance the team so we will make room in our current space. You will not have your own office, people walk unannounced all day long, interruptions are the norm and sarcasm is our friend. We want all to feel welcome to come with us for ideas, issues, or just to chat for a bit.
On Leaving Whatever You're Doing Now:
Do not rush, chances are one of these scenarios may have been true for you: you were sick and tired, or someone called you on a bad day so you said “why not”, or you were part of a lay off and had to get a job fast, or you were told one thing in the interview then learned it was not what you thought.
