The Job: (all sexes welcome)

This role oversees all the activity in manufacturing and ensures all production is designated, tracked and documented in Netsuite; tracking the flow in and out of manufacturing from raw goods to finished units. This is a critical role as it also manages the Leads in Product Assembly, Fabrication and Electrical Assembly. It will manage all Mfg Leads as Ryonet grows, however, this role is not responsible for all Mfg.Team Members; that is the job of the Leads and the Mfg Director. This position conducts (with the Lead), mfg. ‘fit’ Interviews, participates in all check in’s (30,60,90 day), all disciplinary actions, all warnings and “last effort” letters and all terminations with the VP of Culture and the Director. This position reports to the Director of Mfg, who reports to the VP of Manufacturing and Warehouse

What This Role Does: 

 

Required skills

  • Min 3 years- Mfg planning/production
  • 7 years administrative (current)
  • Netsuite or equal ERP
  • Intermediate knowledge of MSOffice Professional- excel, outlook, word
  • Experience keeping confidential information at the appropriate level
  • Proactive and efficient mindset; courage to speak up when things are not following the Ryonet Core Values
  • Knows how to conduct a “FIT” interview w/o using a resume
  • Admin experience with shipping: freight, ground, transfers
  • Works with HR Partner and Leads for all HR needs
  • Tracking Attendance, Attitude, Values
  • Verbal corrections on Core Value violations

Areas of Responsibility in Manufacturing:

  • Manage people:  3-4 ‘Leads’, holding them accountable for leading their assigned teams equally. 
    • Assembly

    • Exposure/ Light Box
  • Admin Duties
    • Write and enforce SOP's
    • Document LEAN and 5s processes
    • Work with vendors
    • maintain and hold team members to the Ryonet Values
  • Production planning: 
    • etSuite
      • schedule freight
      • create transfer orders
      • create work orders
      • update production report
      • utilize to manage backorder reports
