We use the Core Value Index (CVI) because knowing how we roll naturally means we are having more fun and getting more done. Our teams are building on strengths; Managers don’t nag us to work in our weaknesses (unless we want them to). How cool is that?

Then when you’re not so grumpy and unpredictable, maybe timing will be better. We LOVE our fan base!!

The interview process:

Before you go into serious negotiations, you will need to fully embrace our attitude, attend at least 1 Q&A, a Screen Printing Class in WA and hopefully one of our Parties.

You will have plenty of time to learn us, as our process will be a very active 4-8 weeks, depending on schedules and tons of information gathered on your own, as well as through the process. Your meetings with us will be an hour or two with every department that affects your areas of responsibilities.

Our responsibility in this process is to be transparent and open to the questions you will ask and provide you with clear expectations of the role. We will not sugar-coat the position or paint a picture of our company that is not realistic. We are proud of our culture, know that it works, and want people who understand who we are.

Sales Digs:

We work in an open environment which we call the bullpen.  High desks, chairs we rarely sit in, computer screens and the tools we need that just make the experience better. Housed within the bullpen is our customer success team, our acquisition team, and our account management team.

We all have a phone headset and can hear other people talking, laughing, typing and talking across the room.  The beauty of this is that we can instantly collaborate on issues that come up and are able to give our customers the best possible service while we have their attention. We are human, and the environment is as close to talking with a friend as we can make it..

The bullpen can be very distracting so it requires focus and concentration we all have our job to do. If you are prone to distractions then this may not be the place for you.  However, now that we are splitting into a hunting and gathering team, many of us are to be out of the office at least one week a month.

Being out of the office usually means visiting shops within an assigned US territory, as each account manager is building a clientele.  Out of the office could also mean being part of the many tradeshows that we show off at. We have great stuff and we have the best, most active and fun booth at all of the shows.

If you don’t like to travel or travel is difficult because of the spice of life you are in, then account managing is not for you.  Also, we do not hand hold or babysit so all of this team are self-starters and organized, sort of like we are all our own small business.  We support each other with a vast array of tools so success or failure is a choice not a destiny.

We work with wonderful people in and outside of work (for those who like that sort of thing). You see, Screen Printers are an incredible group of all features of life all belief systems and sometimes way to hardy a party life. But when work comes, we all want to show up. That’s the difference in being part of the RyoNation. Each and every one of us will continue to amaze, day in and day out.
